About Services

Lashes:

What are eyelash extensions?

Eyelash extensions are semi-permanent, synthetic lashes applied to each individual natural eyelash with a professional adhesive to create longer, fuller lashes. They're weightless and comfortable to wear, perfect for special occasions or every day wear. No more mascara needed, you can sweat, swim, shower and sleep with eyelash extensions,

How long does an appointment take?

Classic lash sets take approximately 2 hours for a full set, fills take 1-1.5 hours. Hybrid lash sets take approximately 2-2.5 hours for full set and about 1.5 hours for fills. Volume lashes take 2-3 hours for full set and 1.5-2 hours for fill. If adding color pattern/special mapping it may add a few additional minutes to your appointment. Mini fills are less time than a regular 3+ week fill.

Is there anything I need to do before my appointment?

Remove all eye makeup prior to appointment, preferably using an oil free make up remover. Do not curl, perm or tint your eyelashes. If you wear contacts, it is recommended you remove them prior to appointment as your eyes will be closed for a long period of time.

How do I choose what style of eyelashes to get?

Classic extensions are more comparable to the appearance of wearing mascara (more natural), and volume sets more closely resemble strip lashes (more dramatic). However, each set is completely customized and unique, and can look different on each person. During our first appointment we will look at your natural lash length, curl, and eye shape, and I can suggest which extensions might suit you best. Keep in mind that you are not stuck with the style you choose at your initial appointment, as we can always change it up at your next fill!

How long will my eyelash extensions last?

Each person has a slightly different shedding cycle. On average people shed 5 lashes per day, naturally. Typically you will need a fill every 3-4 weeks to keep your lashes looking full. To get the most wear out of your eyelashes be sure to follow the guide lines provided to you. Clients who take care of their lashes and are careful may find they can go up to 5 weeks before needing a fill.

Will the extensions damage my natural eyelashes?

Not at all. If eyelash extensions are applied correctly, your natural lashes should not under go any damage. I take extra care to properly isolate each eyelash and to assess the appropriate weight your lashes can handle without causing breakage or premature shedding.

What if I decide I want to get rid of my eyelash extensions?

If you decide you don't want to continue wearing or, for whatever reason, are unhappy with them we can remove them. The procedure is simple and take about 20 minutes.

Teeth Whitening:

Am I a good candidate for teeth whitening?

Almost everyone can enjoy the benefits of the whitening process if their teeth and gums are healthy. Teeth can not be whitened beyond what is genetically possible. Tetracycline stains may not be removed, stains resulting from excessive fluorides or if the teeth are porous can expect limited results. Over 95% of clients experience success. The whitening process will remove stains from crowns, caps, veneers, and porcelain teeth returning them to their original colour.

How long does it last?

6 - 12 months is normal, depending on lifestyle, oral habits, and how porous teeth are. Once you have whitened teeth to maximum shade of white, you can use products to maintain.

How many treatments will I need?

The vast majority of clients see results that are 2-8 shades whiter after a single or triple treatment. Depending on initial shade of teeth and desired shade of teeth will make difference in how many treatments needed. Most people achieve their whitests possible shade after 3 treatments, heavily stained teeth may require 4-6.

What kind of results can I expect?

Results vary as everyone has their own unique whitening potential. Factors such as a persons genetic traits of teeth, age, quantity of staining food/drinks consumed, smoker, etc play a role in results.

Are there any side effects or pain?

Some people may feel a little tingling sensation, white gum line, or the odd sensitivity, all of which are normal and transient. This can actually be beneficial because it will thoroughly remove bacteria at the gum line.Typically, any of these side effects will last less than 5 minutes to 4 hours.

How long does a treatment take?

The actual whitening process is 15 mins using the LED lighting system. With set up and clean up the entire appointment should be about 25 minutes.

Whats the difference from store purchased products?

The products used are professional quality, using a revolutionary gel placed in a dual arch mouth tray with the help of our full spectrum LED light with precise settings. You get the whitening from the blue LED lighting but also benefit from the red LED lighting as it aids in healing of the gums. This process will not harm the enamel, does not cause intense sensitivity (if any at all), is a quick process with affordable and effective results.

Are the treatments safe and painless?

Our DPC treatments are non-invasive and safe. During the procedure, there may be a slight 1-2 second, momentary tingling sensation that may be felt, but no pain. The treatments leave you with zero downtime so you can get them done between your errands or lunch hour and quickly return to your daily routine

How does it work?

Dynamic Pulse Control™ (DPC) technology is a powerful light-based technology that effectively targets the hair follicle without harming any other parts of the skin. During the treatment, the heat energy denaturizes the melanin in the hair follicle, and as a result, that follicle cannot grow new hair.

How does it work?

During treatment, DPC pulses are emitted onto the target area. Depending on the condition that is being treated, your aesthetic physician can choose the best energy level - from very high to low pulses. The pulses penetrate the dermal layer of the skin and heat up the tissue. The heat causes the collagen fibers to contract, which yields immediate skin tightening results. It also stimulates the body to create new collagen, which helps the skin to restore its elasticity and firmness and delivers long-term result.
